So as many people may or may not know,
or Puppy as many, including myself called him, passed away earlier last month. When I found out I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. Sure I knew his health wasn't so good but I never expected him to leave us so soon. I guess none of us did. My heart goes out to Puppy's super close friends like
Kimmy,
Yoon and
Zod who I can only imagine must have taken his passing the hardest. Not to say it didn't us the rest of us hard.
And with all deaths the mourning quickly follows. Some handle grieving much faster than others; I myself mourned in my own way. Ever since I heard the news my brain has been trying to process this and try to come to terms with it, though not shedding a single tear while doing so. However it wasn't until today that I was finally able to let go of the emotions I had bottled up inside and it's all thanks to a single tiny pin badge I received from
Memo. Without it I probably would never had shed the tears I needed.
You know that even though I was never a part of his Skype list or inner circle of close friends I still consider Puppy a close friend of mine to the very end. He was always a very humble guy and was always looking out for the welfare of his friends above his own, even when he knew he was in failing health. One thing always bugged me about Puppy and that was that he was always putting himself down, saying that his art was no good. But that never stopped me from going back time and time again to commission him for something awesome. I loved his art style and it was because of him that I got inspired to pick up my graphics tablet and give it another shot. And while I may only be inking previous sketches he did for me I'm certain I'll improve the more I practice.
He probably never realised this but he did more for me than he could ever know. It's thanks to him that I was able to come across such an amazing group of people I now call my friends. I gotta say Puppy,
Dae isn't as grumpy as I thought he was and has been super nice to me and helped me out a bunch since I got my new PC. And
Frost is a great person to chat too, especially when I tease him about
Rakai's "The Voice". And don't you worry about your little Kitten
Casluna. Even though though you aren't around any more I know you are watching over her. I let her sleep under my wing now and then.
I've seen so many great tribute picture for you Puppy and everyone went out of their way to help pay for costs for your funeral and cremation. I had a good friend of mine
add another tribute to the pile of amazing art dedicated to you.
To wrap up this...I suppose you could call eulogy is that I was very grateful to have known you in this life and maybe someday we'll meet in another. Or if we meet up in the afterlife I'll see if I can't bring an Xbox and Fallout 4 with me. Not to mention a whole bunch of Diet Coke, hehe. Anyways thanks for all the good times and I hope you continue to watch over all of us.

While I did not know him, I can say that he was rich. For with friends such as those he had, no man could want for more.
To those he left behind, may your tears be shed not in grief, but in joy! Joy for knowing a man as amazing as he, and joy at knowing that though for now you part, someday you shall meet again.
Take comfort in the knowledge that, though the path has led him from you, he shall forever walk by your side, from now 'till the call to silver shores brings you back again.
*Cough*
Well, I should stop now while I am ahead! A very beautiful picture. I hope your friend looks down on it with a smile.

Such a lovely pic, I'm sure puppy would love it.
It's still, even now hard to believe he's gone... I was a wreck when I found out
I cried so much that day. he was a dear friend. He's in a better place now though,
and one day, we'll all meet him again. I look forward to that day.
Wonderful work on this :)
