I think falling from time to time is just a given aspect of suiting - what with the big clumsy feet, the poor vision and the general goofing around. After time your bum builds up suitable 'fall resistance'

And yeah, that is me at the back there - I think by that point I was trying to stay out of the way so no-one could see just how much that limbo contest hurt! Evil violent events! Evil!

nah, i honestly find it very cute. it was my first time seeing fursuiters and got to know some of them. the smiles it brings to those at the hotel that are not furs was amazing. honestly, if anyone in this fandom finds it weird or silly, then i wonder why they even in the fandom cause this is what its all about, having fun and being free with others that share the same connection with the animal totem. I cant wait to get a suit made and the chance to finally be my character and put smiles on others faces but i do understand its not for everyone.

Haven't furries always been around for the porn, cause it sure seems like it's the center of attention.
People talk about the knots all the time and they love to see animals having sex but without being called zoophile, so they call themselves furry. lol

you right, i really felt like a kid again, and it is the best feeling ever. sure, a lot of the fandom revolves around porn, but i found out, actually going to a con and meeting furs, they actually not all about porn at all which made me feel very guilty for the stuff i do. for some its a real, innocent part of their life. like one fursuiter, her character was her dog that she loved that passed away and she was honoring the memory by being that dog and that was very touching for me.

Sure you can like it, i don't really care.
Just, most horny and animal loving teenagers grow up and out of the "furry lifestyle" sooner or later. Like a phase.
I have yet to see any 40 year old furries...well, i hope to not see any to be honest, cause that would be creepy don't ya think?

ya, some grow out of it i guess. those that do were probably never looking for the fandom to begin with. i had no idea there was a fandom till 2003. i was trying to find it and when i did was so happy when i did. and i know of many older furs who probably been there from the beginning. cant say i find it creepy as it dosent say anywhere that its a teens only thing.. but something for everyone no mater age, colour or creed :3

Just to throw a few cents at this conversation, furries are furries. Some are in for the porn, some are in for the fandom, some are in for reasons on their own. I'm a furry for a bunch of reasons, including all that i listed. Furries shouldnt really be teens, sence most people's idia of furry is porn. A lot is, but not all of it, and thats where most outside of the fandom get confused. I'm a BIT young to go to any conventions now, but i will. I'll be going to meet a bunch of artists and overall to have a good time. Kind of like how people go to star wars conventions and sports conventions. Its very much like those.
Dont be hating on furries. I mean, you have to like a sports team or somthing right? I'm sure you have parties/meetings for these teams, right?

dude, just ignore him, he's just trying to get people going. maybe fursuits isn't his thing, but it is many others. To each his own. I think it's cute really, and it is part of the fandom.

I just always found the idea that games...cute things, fun in general are 'childish' is, eh. What's the word? Ironic? Hypocritical? I've never known a single person that called stuff like that 'immature,' as they say, and wasn't painfully shallow, terribly miserable, catty and manipulative, leading a hollow life, highly passive aggressive, or all of the above. Not to push any of those on you, but simply I've never actually previously seen someone say what you've said and had them then show themselves to be a healthy, well adjusted person that properly contributes to society.

Far as I'm concerned, want to be 'adult' and 'mature?' Pay your bills. Be there for the people that need you, be responsible in general. Be respectable, a role model, and contribute to society. After that, I hardly think most people with their heads on straight will care whether you play hopscotch or hide-the-scotch in your spare time.

I dont want to stir anything her but something you say hare has caught my attention... What are you guilty of Zen? Ill agree Firsuiting is for some and not for others. I wanna get one at some point because i want to express my character fully and just have the experience. And yes the fandom has many sides to it and there will always be bitching and arguing about what furry really is and I guess there is no real true answer. Furry is what you want it to be; Either just appreciation of the art, the idea of escapism, love of animals, and yes many are here for the porn. But we are all here together.
So zen what are you really guilty of? Yes sure your collection may be a lot of pornographic images, but its made a lot of people happy. And hapyness is nothing to be ashamed of. As Dr Freud said, the only unnatural sexual habbit is no sexual release at all.
