I game every sunday with freinds. The good old Paper and pencil D&D. This sunday I decided to take my sketch book. I don't know what possessed me but I was inspired to just draw out a long perspective line from one side of the paper to the other. I sat and stared at it for a while then began blocking in rectangles. I had nothing to use as refrence or a ruler so lines are a mess but I like the squggldy mess. It was fun to just let go and see if I could make something work from memory of things I had seen long time ago. and or make it believable despite it not being correct. I had to expand upon the Dakota territory train Heist. I just had to. I can only asume the husky, bull, and racoon are on the other side of the train with their horses.
Anyways hope you all enjoy. I might have to make a group for western drawings. *laughs*

Really!!?! I'm the first to comment!!?! MAN! And this is such a nice peice to!!!
Every thing looks great, aside from the passenger cars. If you don't mind here are some reference links.
Here is a good shot of where the car ends meet/couple together: http://www.bridgeandtunnelclub.com/.....rgrailroad.jpg
Now here's a decent side view of an Old Time wooden passenger car: http://www.trainnet.org/Libraries/L.....003/SRR048.GIF
Also, I found another good interior pic for these passenger cars: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_0Uzzuo2ET...../IMG_6515a.jpg
I hope you don't mind me pointing you to these references. But after all, aren't we artists always looking to improve our skills?
