Taken from the Seattle-Bremerton ferry, with a Canon EOS 300D camera fitted with a Kodak 78-215mm lens. The seagulls like to pace the ferry in order to take advantage of the free lift it creates, so it presents some unique photographic opportunities -- you can stand on the aft deck and play "tail gunner" with the camera as birds approach from behind.
