*snickers* Sometimes those AI things are just terrible at their job. You know the one's that try to guess your age? Put in some pictures on those - with facial hair, I'm 39. Without, I'm 25 ('cause... apparently a soul patch REALLY ages you), and my Dad (who's 67) kept getting results like 81. XD
Heh! They sure are fun to mess with, though. :P Silliness aside, image processing really has come an impressive distance even in such a short time span as the last 5 years (let alone in the last 10+). And I'm sure that site works better when people are using pictures of actual dogs, ha.
Actual dogs, PPPPSSHHHHHH... don't make excuses for the AI. :P
Honestly, you're right though - 5+ years ago, most of this wasn't possible at all. Just like if you took an LED light bulb for the home that uses WiFi and can be any one of 16 million colours and travelled WAY back in time to 2010, people would be astounded. Things progress quickly nowadays.
