It's based on the famous photo:

That song, and the real life photos that this was based on - was actually used in the Ric Burns Documentary: New York

Of course, there is the obligatory shirtless male furry in the middle, but that's in the original photo. -3-
Also: note the poor tiger guy on the right who's unhappy, drunk at lunchtime, and compositionally isolated from his peers by the support cable. Who's ironically the only one perceptive enough to notice the cameraman and, by extension, the viewer.

i really love the art but everytime i looking through their eyes makes me terryfied.... i hate heights especialy of a unfinished building... it makes my skin crawling, the only thing you can hold on to are you friends next to you or the iron bulk where you sitting at its just, ugh... i will never put a step up there...
I think you should know that I rarely comment on someone's work. In those rare cases that I stop and take the time to share my opinion, it's because I have been transported into the piece of work and it's story. I'd love it if you'd share with me the inspiration behind this piece.
I think this picture is beautiful and, like you said, shows effort and a whole lot of patience and time. I'd say it paid off. It's just awesome. A job VERY well done!!!! Thanks for sharing your inspiring work!
