I apologize for not being able to comment on your work like I said I would, I just recently got my laptop back from being fixed in Texas. However, it is great to see that you've still kept up your great level of quality during my unfortunate absence.
Your technique is very stylistic so it's really neat to see it applied to preexisted characters like those from Final Fantasy in order to contrast the two. In particular you do seem to have a penchant for dragons so I definitely encourage you to continue doing them.
Of particular note I like the way you do curves and definition, which I think goes a long way in making a figure look good. It's great to see some detail in the wings since non-feathered wings are usually drawn featureless, and I think this is a more realistic and contemporary look. That sort of thing helps a lot with the muscle too, especially for the arms and legs.
The highlighting is a nice touch too, it gives a good sheen to the image. The white light is good for smooth parts like the clothes and the claws because it gives off a reflected look like fingernails or a lamented-like surface. Also, varying the colors on layers on the body was a very nice effect, I don't think I see that sort of thing very often and for the most part I think it works very well.
Thanks a lot for sharing your work! I do hope you continue to do characters like this, because I think a lot of different ones (especially those from Final Fantasy) would look great in your style.

I'm actually doing every single boss from the game, the dragons just happen to be there as well; you can go back and forth with the links in the original text. Truth be told I think I've done enough dragons (especially their annoying to draw wings) but everybody else seems to like them, so I keep on. Plus they are still bosses, and I am doing a series.
All that detail in the wings and stuff is actually in the original sprites, which I also sample my colors from. I'm just "reinterpreting" them for my own amusement, if you will.
Thanks a lot for the in depth analysis, but don't feel pressured to write something so in depth on every single thing. I appreciate it.

Oh God, the pose, the facial expression, and the bikini...
It just hit me: she's one of those beach girls.
The ones who know exactly how gorgeous they are, and enjoy the attention it brings them. This is her "Hey boys" pose.
I can totally imagine a whole flock of guy dragons just off-screen showing off in an effort to impress her.
