It was uneventful...good weather and not too many motoring morons. We arrived home at noon last Monday and it's been boots on the ground ever since...starting on Tuesday with a 4:30 alarm to pick up a tractor, hook up and be in Dayton by 9am. Worked three days last week and have three days already scheduled for this coming week. No rest for the weary! LOL
A brilliant little idea that expanded into a wonderful story, like a wetted fingertip dipped in the sugar bowl and applied directly to the tongue. There so much here between the lines, craftily sneaked in without disturbing the scene. May your personal well of magic never run dry. *hugs*

I love these simple, heart-touching and eye opening stories of yours. You say so much in such a quick few paragraphs that I will fully admit I am envious. Blame it on my neurosis or my insatiable desire for the detail, but I can very rarely (if ever) write a story as short yet strong as this. I guess I just feel like I'm not writing in a justifiable way if I don't develop every little image in my mind when typing on the keys.
But this...this good. This is right. And you have made this Wolf jealous and grateful for what it is. Excellent work.
