I was going through old pictures to dig up character images for my toyhou.se and found some old pictures of her so I decided to throw this together as a progress/improvement image.
1. She started out a pure white with slightly darker cream/ivory hair (though it looks more yellow on my newer display). I had no idea how to draw anything even resembling an alligator face ;n; I don't have an exact date on this but I think it was late 2009, MAYBE early 2010?
2. Then this was done in 2012, about three years after. I decided her hair would be pure white and ... arguably got a little bit better with drawing something a little closer to an alligator/caiman snout. Still terrible though haha.
3. In 2015, I redid the 2012 image with her updated design --- she's still albino, but now faint stripes/markings are visible in her design. It makes her more interesting. Instead of an American Alligator, I've also decided she's a Dwarf Caiman instead ... but calling her an Alligator is close enough (caimans are in the alligator family anyhow!)
4. And finally, the image I just did in 2016 ... no design changes, or stylization changes here. But I guess technically it's the most up-to-date ... and I've finally learned how to draw her with ease so that's something. Improvement! (sort of).
I've clearly gotten a lot better in 6-7 years, but I've definitely still got a long way to go. Regardless, I'm much happier with the way I draw her now, and much happier with her current design!
