Iv done this. Only it was with a Abena M4 and it was a spray hose for the kitchen sink.

And I can tell you from expirence, hat diaper would be a lot thicker, and saggyier. =P

I did it a couple times too but my shower head isn't removable lol. On time I had those cheap rectangular useless diapers that one isn't enough. So I layered them up, also to just get rid of them, and went and absorbed the water. And squished a lot :3 but fun stopped when I was taking them off and got to the very inner ones that the barrier that kept the absorbency stuff in had broke. So there was all that spilled into the shower. I threw most of it away in the trash bag I brought up but the tiny bits that were a pain to even try to pick up had to go down the drain. Which caused the drain to clog for a moment so had to try to plunger it xD the drain is fine now but it was a pain that day. Still fun though.
