A very nice friend of mine asked me to draw a picture in tribute to two of her dogs named Hettie and Babby. She described them to me and this is what I came up with with Hettie being said to be like a middle-aged motherly hooker with a heart of gold, and Babby being mischievous and prone to getting in more then a few scraps. While working on this I really got the feel that Hettie was the one looking over Babby, it kind of put me in mind of Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke and how she would look after some of the kids in Dodge City while waiting for Marshal Dillion to come back...
