The octopus lives deep in the ocean, painting beautiful pictures with his famous ink. He has a habbit of starting eight differnt art projects at once. He wnats all of the fish in the sea to marvel at his work, because he has trouble of doing that him self. Most of his projects may never see the light of day. He will start one project, and half way through it he doubts that anyone will enjoy his creation. When this happens he will usually cease to work on that project. And so most of the octopus's ideas are only seen by himself, because of his lack of confidence in his art.
Being an artist can be hard. Sometimes the fear of what others will think of our art causes us to stop in the middle of a project. So sometimes we need to be told by others that our art is good. Doing that gives us confidence in our abilities and the will to keep creating.
