just a drawing in church

i dunno, just thinking about today and how its always seemed like a double edged sword, like for some people its super cute and romantic but for others its just sad and lonely and it turns into a weird pity party

at byu its especially weird because everyones so focused on marriage (one of my roommates just got engaged as im typing this haha) so theres like an extra weird pressure on everyone whos single, and you start to feel bad when youre not with someone? tbh its a little ridiculous and i dont think it helps anyone to have that mindset of being flawed without someone.
whatever relationship youre in its still important to also like youself and just be okay with who you are

i mean dont get me wrong it can get pretty lame to be single and ive felt that a lot lately, but thinking about it im honestly okay with that! I've never been really anywhere close to a relationship and i don't think anyones ever thought of me like that anyway c: but thats fine and it won't be that way forever. ill just work on me in the meantime. I've got friends and family and so many things that make me feel wanted and thats enough for me haha
