Here's a photo of my favorite media player. It's a British made, Rega Planar 3 turntable sporting the Elys cartridge being guarded by a few red pandas. ^^ To the left of it is a Hunt EDA Mark 6 dust brush.

I purchased this in the early 90s. For the money it is one of the best turntables and remains one of the highest selling tables on the market. It is sitting on a block of granite which is sitting on an Ikea shelving unit filled with some of my newer vinyl purchases and some Lps from my library that I am currently listening to. The granite block is for stability. A neat trick I learned from a fellow music lover as a cheaper and very efficient way to stabilize your turntable. On the platter is a disco Lp by Sylvester. "You Make Me Feel Mighty Real" was his biggest hit and here I'm blasting it through my sound system. It consists of a Dennon AVR-887 receiver pushing 110w RMS per channel with a pair of Definitive Technology BP10 tower speakers. Hand made in Maryland. Probably the best set of speakers they made.
