Page 10 and the end of the fight of Werefox and Ulysses.
Werefox, the winner of this fight enjoyed his victory over the dragon, bathing in the cheers of the audience and the kisses of his fangirls. His glanced shortly over to the dragon still sitting on the ground, suffering from his defeat.
Ulysses glared back, breathing heavy. He slowly wanted to get up on his feet, as a medic came closer again, trying to help him. But the dragon shoved him off anew, forcing himself up and stood tall again.
He still couldn't believe he had lost, but he had to accept that and nodded over to the winner and turned around quick. Not letting others see the pain he was feeling in his head and chest, Ulysses left the octagon, with his fists clenched hard, his blood slowly boiling up in anger. He wouldn't give in to the pain in front of the audience, but as it seemed no one was noticing him that much anymore anyway.
Everyone was just chattering about the fox, that vicious combo and the... well.. the stupidity of other spectators of this fight.
A medic was following the dragon despite his dismissive behavior before. It was the right decision, because as soon as the dragon had entered the locker room, he fell down on his knees again and leant against a locker, holding his chest in pain.
Ulysses finally let the medic do his work and gave in to his anger, a severe anger about himself. The dragon was sure he wouldn't spare himself in the upcoming months. He would train nonstop and hard and merciless, insuring that such a humiliating defeat wouldn't happen again. And who knows, maybe someday he could get a rematch to challenge this fox again and then... win!
