This month's painted miniature is the War Hammer Lord Elves on a Griffon from Blood Island. I knew there had to be snow leopard in this model somewhere, and the rest of the colors fell into place. This model arrived with a broken claw, hat, no stand, and missing a banner, so I had to recreate all of those things. I used bits of sculpey to fix the claw and hat, a shish-ka-bob stick and real rocks with white paint to build a base, and a bit of fabric lacquered to build a flag. This was my first Warhammer figure, I'm not really a fan of them too much, but this model was beautifully sculpted. We took it outside for additional photos.
