Last night I tried making a clay sculpture of the bunny so I could make a wax 'negative', but I couldnt get the little "poof" of hair right, so I quit and went to bed. When I woke up, I found cat chew marks on the ear and head 0.o;
I am experimenting with different molding techniques so I dont know how its going to turn out.

eheh usually keyrings like these are modelled three dimensionally (on a computer) then a positive is cut in any material using a machine that can process the information
then when the negative is made, the final product is usually made with coloured acrylic or vinyl, that or the colour is added on top with a glaze layer ^_^
