Jassy_Coco accepted my commission request a little while back when she was open, for I've grown rather fond of her style, and I thought Persephone would look nice draw by such a talent... and I surely wasn't disappointed! The way she uses light and shadow gives Matron Persephone quite the lovely maternal glow, and shi looks so sweet and kind in this picture, exactly as I figured hir Matron self would be...

I personally tend to favor deep, rich colors in my clothing, but I tend to have 'Seph in black and white, or more earth tones - maroons, tans, and so on. My reasoning is that normal, humany sorts tend to be some variation on beige, and thus need to be livened up with richer colors, while 'Seph's skin is already such a lovely, deep blue that i would either be overwhelming or simply clashing, so more subdued colors would be more to hir style. Jassy picked up on that as well (she's great at color design) and gave 'Seph a wrap that fits so nicely that I might have to use as one of hir default tops. :) In hir Matron form, as described in this picture, shi almost always wears clothing that shows off hir permanently rounded belly - whether cut to reveal it like this wrap or simply rolled up.

'Seph hopes shi gets the chance to work with Jassy again sometime, and I hope everyone likes how this work turned out!
