Long overdue work for
I am very happy with this version, it leaps out much more than the previous attempts and I have been slowly nursing each line and taking much time into this and that, here and there. XD
The scanner is a wee harsh as usual, but she is quite the beauty. I had a few eyes check here and several tell me to take the straight jacket off she's done haha. ( Perfectionism is a secret problem ye'all) :D
I do accept tips! If you love seeing this sort of stuff, you can drop me a "cuppa compliments" here: Tips Link
~❤I use my SCRAPS 99% of the time! Look there for more pinups!❤~

Such a beautiful Tigress! I love seeing more curvy characters here on FA. My own characters were supposed to be closer to my own body type (small breasts but curvy hips, thighs and tummy) but I am rather out of practice drawing curves hehe. This tigress is so sexy and beautiful I absolutely love this!
Small breasts are always hard for me but not huge hips hehe. I keep trying to practice shapes, but the pear shape is always a challenge, but lovely! (and so much fashion choice ;3; as a heavy hourglass I can't pull off alot of modern trends with a large bust and little waist. You get all the cute tops x3)
ehehehehee before had my two kids I was almost a D-cup. Breastfeeding sorta killed my poor boobs lmao. I have this hourglass shape, just a smaller chest. My theighs and hips have plumpness, smaller waist/tummy, and then slightly broadens out my shoulders. I've learned to love my shape lol. It's better than what I used to be. I was sickly growing up, and in highschool. Never over 120lbs at the max and even still people wondered where the weight was. Ahaha...yeah no. never again. Overactive metabolisms suck. You are always sick, always cold no matter what the temp, and you can pound away food and body still wont get enough nutrients. Much happier with how I am now. I may try toning up if at all possible just a bit, but don't want to lose weight :(
My odd shape makes tops even stranger. I'll look at my waist and go, YEAH! I can wear that cute top! ....then I try to get them over my broader shoulders and I'm like....nope... lol.

I have two more in productions kinda, they wanted another later on, and we have only talked about it, with the theme sorta already talked about, so I have been working on them when I can (one to pick, other is another pose but same theme because it came to mind, giving them an option on them. If they like neither, I will do one more I have a layout of, and sell them at a con gallery)
It's much slower of a progress than it used to be. I am a lot harder on myself than I should be. I already focus on all the bad things in this and I had made 2 drafts full size before this one XD. I am too strict hahaha

This shows a higher level of detail and precision than most of your things, it's a bit of a different style.
It's always good to try different things, and one that's often good is to push yourself and spend more time on a piece. You'll probably learn more doing that, too.
I often like the feel of things where one works fast, uses less detail, and relies more on gesture. A lot of times you can use simple, rough techniques to establish shading, texture and detail, but sometimes it's cool to be more disciplined and fill things out with all the detail.
I think people would definitely buy pieces like this. -I would, assuming of course that I had the scratch! Nice classic pinup pose, too.
It's also good that you tried different versions. It's often good to play with a few different ideas and then pick one to flesh out.
And, of course we're usually our own worst critics. You know the things that didn't quite come out the way you want or that you could do better, but someone else looking at it is much less likely to get hung up on, or even notice the same things...
BTW, drove by your corner of the woods yesterday...

Good thing you did it yesterday! I hear this weekend is going to get soggy.
I work overall fast, but this one I did an etching technique that a fine artist was doing and it was painstaking but works really well. I tended to work slow in the few classes I took and teachers always said to hurry hurry hurry, so I started to work much faster, I rather not on things I am really into like this. I was special hard because the collection was a bit intimidating too. Like how am I even going to be in this wonderful collection levels, but I think I rose well to the occasion.

Amazing what you can do when you're challenged sometimes... A situation like that can definitely push you. You have a standard to judge yourself against, and you want it to be a good show, so you don't want to let yourself or the teacher or other artists down...
It looks more like an etching, but I figured it was pencil since it said "Graphite"... What kind of etching technique did you use? In high school we had a print shop, and I did some zinc plate etchings, which suited me pretty well since my main thing was pen and ink drawing at that point, having been turned on to Rapidograph pens a couple of years previous, having a really great art teacher in junior high, and having spent most of my time in junior high and high school drawing... The studio was also set up to do lithographs, but I never got around to those.
You really did a nice job on this. It's stylistically consistent, the face and eyes are great, and the pose feels good. You captured the weight, proportions and volume well, and heck, just getting the head the right size and on right is difficult, and cloth draping is devilishly hard to do well...
Good artists make it look easy, but there's a level of precision to doing this kind of thing, and even the less painstakingly detailed stuff you usually do. Getting a line just the tiniest bit off can make all difference between something working or not. It's really all about the practice, and for those lucky few, maybe some innate talent... I've certainly never pulled off anything at this level of quality, and may well never...!
