From the Commish:
A couple cool things have happened since the closure of our second UFFL season - one of those things being that I've learned vector graphic design using Manga Studio EX. I had to learn how to do this for a non-furry project. Previously I felt that vector design was too time-consuming and delicate, that I didn't even bother with it.
However, the software makes it so easy to do it! So! We needed a logo update - nothing major, but a quick, clean, and fresh look. There wasn't anything wrong with the design, but it was EXTREMELY low-resolution. Most art/graphics need to be minimally 1000x1000 pixels, and we were playing with something about 400x400.
So! With the help of this image ( https://twitter.com/Disney_Zootopia.....34639628853248 ), which is the second cool thing that's happened/happening (thanks, Zootopia!), we can start to combat the issue of what a furry's football helmet would look like, and give the UFFL logo a proper update.
Changes:
- UFFL text. No more "Stencil Std" font; this is "Sports Jersey" which is courtesy of Dafont.com
- Our vulpine mascot, complete with furry tail and arms, is now an off-white color: RGB 230,230,230
- Red has been darkened to RGB 200,10,10; I believe the blue is the same, but just in case: RGB 0,62,124
- A white border has been set around the perimeter; in places where the mascot crosses the border, the grey color goes over it
- Logo is less 'angled'
- Helmet now has a mask around the muzzle, which... seems silly, yes, but it's the effect that counts!
- Football/arm have been redrawn at more of an angle, courtesy of feedback
