Sparkling Poltergeist animation. My latest animation.
This animation is a little bit more subtle than my previous one, but introduces color changing and complete shape morphing. Please follow this link to watch the animation, and favorite here when you're done.

WATCH IN HIGH DEFINITION!!
Anyways, I have put together an executable file to download that will place these fractal animations as a screensaver for your desktop. At the time, I currently only have two. However, they are of very high quality and should work perfectly fine. These, along with almost all of my future fractal works can be found on a very basic webspace that I am using. Yes, it is free, and yes, it looks like crap. I have it this way for simplicities sake, ease of download, and easy browsing of my works. Nothing fancy, there's no need for it.
Anyways, I'm still throwing together the links, pages, all that stuff. Not quite completed yet. However, the main gallery does work.

Zah! This one's pretty crazy for being more subtle--but I mean that in a good way ^.^ I really like when the animation moves everything into a circle; it's reminiscent of a crystal ball, which is really neat! The initial image gives me this feeling of a spirit moving through the galaxy...actually, I see it more with its arms crossed and looking downward at something in kind of a lonely way, than moving in this image.
Okay. Self-interpretation filter off...now!

Nono, turn that damn filter back on. D:
But that's funny, as I saw basically the same thing when I went through these animations, haha.
I need to find a way to make these a LOT smaller without losing quality. These external links simply aren't doing it justice in terms of favorites. :/

Haha, fine :P *turns filter back on*
Hmm...I really can't claim that I know anything about the program you use except that you make really awesome stuff from it. I wonder if there's a way to compress your final file once you're done working on it and have saved it? It would be nice if there was a way to do that without reducing the image's quality, which is even difficult in other programs like Photoshop--least I have a hard time with it. I can compress something, but then it doesn't look quite so good even if I use the save-for-web option. Not sure if your program has anything like that, and I must sound silly for even mentioning it since they're two totally different things, I'm sure.

Well, it doesn't have a real compression setting like that. I can explain a bit further for you.
Singulary fractals are a decent size. Animated fractals are made out of hundreds of single fractals, and then later put together to make an animation from these jpeg files. I use Sony Vegas Pro for this. Afterwards, I use a .GIF converter to convert the movie file into a .GIF, heh. These .GIF's are normally around 480MB. It's HUUUGE. I could try compressing it with a certain program or something, but... I HATE losing quality. :/

480MB?! Really?! Christ in my applesauce, that's humongous. Now I really see why these animated ones won't fit on FA!!! It's too bad you have no decent compressor for that, or one at all.
I really can't blame you at all for hating the loss of quality, because that's often what really makes the artwork. It must take you a while to get this even uploaded to YouTube, though, I imagine.

Wow! Truly amazing!! I didn't know that Apophysis could be made to do this. What was the total rendering time? What was the total
Kewlhotrod creating time? I'd have faved this as a static image, but this...
