Oh look! Finally a piece of artwork that doesn't look like absolute shit! :D
But seriously, ArtRage Lite is an interesting art program, I just kept using the fill tool till it came out looking like this. XD

Anyway. I might as well tell you about the character and her inspiration.

Her armor is based off the Roman Soldier, but her fighting style and weapon of choice is akin to the retiarus, gladiators who used the equipment of fishermen like tridents and nets. Now she doesn't have a net in this picture but she does use them to fish or trap scary monsters/anthropomorphic animals. Also, the trident has barbs, I know that's not a good fighting weapon but she also uses it to fish and they hurt.

As for her inspiration, she has two. Come on people. It's in the name. At this point I have just given away the entire plot of Spectrum Guardians Volume 3 :p

But if you still don't see the other inspiration. She uses a trident and her element comes from the sea...hmmm...and if that isn't enough her trident weapon is called Amphitrite...

Oh, and let's talk about the element she controls. salt. She can control and create any type of salt. Bath salts, poisonous salts, sea salt, table salt...any kind of salt she can use to throw into your eyes from far distances and blind you while she steps in for a killing blow. Or rub it into your wound so it heals faster, which ever works

As for her personality, she's very curious about everything, she has a very adventurous spirit, witty, and she is also very motherly.

Her hobbies include fishing, swimming, exploring, and bothering Tyler with incessant amounts of questions.

She loves cute objects/people, marine life, and finding new things/places she's never seen/been before.
