When you're a macro and your significant other is a mad scientist, how do you fund expensive scientific ventures that sometimes leave trails of destruction in their wake? You take up a job that normally requires dozens of people and you do it yourself in less time for their collective pay. Today, that job happens to be construction work. It's not a bad gig, although demolition work is way more fun!
