Whoa... Look at the beautiful sunset... The contrast... And the flowing hair and ribbons... Just... Wow.

I'm incredibly pleased with how this piece turned out. Miya appears both gentle and vulnerable in this image, and while the breeze lifts her skirt with great affection, her modesty is perfectly preserved, something Miya hasn't always cared about if it led to what she desired.

The color scheme, pink for the dress and the matching dark ruby/burgundy for ribbon, panties, and jewel was an excellent choice.

The oceanic sunset with sky and sea merging together such that the boundary between lost meaning was also well done.

a_blue_deer's art is seriously under-priced for the excellent quality of work you get in return.

I actually did pay a tiny bit more than what he asked for the commission. I put it in as a gift and he and Shana surprised me with an email saying that I'd overpayed and that they wanted to make up for it. I was really impressed with the honesty.

Having seen a sketch of the second commission earlier today, it only reaffirms the value of his art. I think I like the second sketch even better than the first. Can't wait to see the colors in the second picture. It's incredibly cute so far.
