Personal piece time!
I have been itching and itching to finish this piece, and it's been over a month in the making, a lot closer to 2. Though a fair bit of the work was over the past week since I just got ultra inspired to finish it. I have always, always struggled with lineless work, and this time was no different really. I was watching videos of people speed painting people and characters first on Facebook, then on YouTube, and I got to thinking that I really should try again. I have a lot of characters, but I really did want to do something special that was World of Warcraft related.
This is Akaiyah, she is my main toon on World of Warcraft and she was originally made as a joke. My friend Dave had started playing with me and he complained I didn't have any "feminine" or "girly" characters. So I made a troll with pink hair, tamed a pink hyena, and rode around on a pink raptor. I then asked if I was girly enough now. He's long since stopped playing sadly and I ended up remaking her on a different server but the same premise for her stayed the same. Her hyena pet, has been with her since level 16. His name is Adolante, an anime reference prolly no one will get, but it's okay. XD It's important to me and that's what matters.
Here is the inseparable duo. I've drawn them before in the past, but honestly, this is truly my favorite piece of the two of them. This is the first time I not only got as close to how Kai appears in game, but it's also as close as I've ever got to how I imagine Adolante looking despite the crappy old models for hyenas in game. Well as close as I want Kai to be in game, I only have probably 10% of her transmog set that she is wearing in this pic. But one day, I'll get the set, I can dream right? XD The background on this, is a very, very subtle hint to Tanaan Jungle, considering that's where she's spending 99% of her time right now lol. Hopefully part of it was recognizable? But prolly not, it's really vague LOL!
This though, is one of the first times that I finished a pic, and it only inspired me to try harder at whatever is next. So back to work on pin ups, doodles, and sketches... more to come for sure!

I kinda made mine as a joke... sort of. X3 Her name was a joke until they forced me to change it. XD But she quickly became my favorite, so when I became a guild master, they were like HMMM and made me change her name... It was originally a play on a line from an anime, too... "I'm a weasel, dammit!" so she was Imaweasel and her pet wolf was Dammette... XD
Of course, I made mine ages before they nerfed regeneration and berserking... XP
