Flowers, trees and mushrooms, oh my. Another colorsketch page. LD has a garden full of weird things, including several kinds of mushroom entities, and advice giving bonsai-tree dryads. The white mushroom one is my favorite here, it looks like an alien. The species is called the Destroying Angel. The name alone should clue you in to how deadly it is. They serve as guardians for the premises. Bonus points if you can name the little amanitas at the bottom. :D

I see a Death's Cap, a Fly Agaric, but I'd have to go googling to find the other of the amanitas in the corner. =3
I was reading about Destroying Angel's last year, and when I tried telling people that was the name of them (fungi that look like they could be edible but certainly are not) no one believed me!
Are those Cherry tree bonsai's in the bottom left? I ask because of the colours, blossom on the left and leaves on the right? If I had more of my own space I would definitely want to try "getting into" bonsai, I bought a bunch of books on the subject a while ago but fear I'd never keep one alive long enough! Acer bonsais =
I have unbridled approval for your orchid anthro, Gods, now I'm going to have to go visit Kew Gardens again to satisfy my innate botanical appreciation desires!

The three little amanitas besides the psycho destroying angel are: Deathcap (Amanita phalloides - yellow), Fly Agaric (Amanita muscara - red) and Panther Amanita (Amanita pantherina - brown). I liked the destroying angel best for some reason, and yes they kill nearly all who are stupid enough to eat them.
One is a flowering cherry, the other a japanese maple, but its not detailed enough to see here. Dx

Okay, now i really need to get off my butt and ink and color my Orphys orchid anthro. What sort of orchid is the one in the upper left?
I love the little mushrooms at the bottom, the only one i recognize off the top of my head is A. muscaria, fly agaric.
Glad to see i'm not the only one who thought bonsai dryads are a delightful idea... maybe I should redraw my epimelid as more plantlike?
My grandmother has a field guide to mushrooms with beautiful photographs and explicit warnings that have led me to be TERRIFIED of accidentally knocking over the wrong fungus. However, I've also learned to identify puffballs, since they're delicious :3

did somebody say bonus points? haha
looks like amanita muscaria and pantherina on the bottom right, tho i cant figure out the left one of the trio.
awesome stuff! in general ppl don't do plants and fungi nearly enough. also, you have a knack for seamlessly blending human form with lots of rarely-anthropomorphized things. beautiful ^^
