If I may let in a little insight as to why..

Dutch Angel Dragons can have several different characteristics that make it hard to simply give one design and say, color this. Some dont even have the larger horns at the top of the head, and others, like my Afterlife, have pawed hands and cloven hooved feet. Lineart is much easier for us to be able to customize since an extreme few of us have the exquisite skill of your details.

Though personally, I'm gonna try my hand at customizing the original detailed base you did. I think Afterlife would look amazing that way!

ABSOLUTELY AGREED! I saw these linearts in my new submissions and I was soo excited. My first DAD is super unique and this will make things so much easier to customize! It'll also be fun to create others. YEE!
