(Idea about World of Warcraft. This is like, the background story.)
So. There is this really rare creature in WoW called the "Time Lost Proto Drake" Crazy name right? Well yeah, it's a dragon, looks similar to above except >.>... less my style, and more detail ;)
Anyways... Everyone and their mother wants to kill this dragon. Once you do kill it, you can ride it, and it is fucking bad ass yada yada.
Like I said, unbelievably rare, has a spawn timer of 6 hours - a week >.> anywhere in that time frame! Not to mention, as I said before everyone and their mother is camping it 24/7...
... Doesn't the Drake have anything to say about this?

Now I've ACTUALLY thought about this. For some reason, I put myself in it's place, and figured, "holy fuck, that has gotta suck."
Think of it - you are some bad ass dragon. But SOMEHOW you manage to get lost in time. I mean sure, its a dragon, time travel? Why not? Dragons kick ass. *shrugs*
But you end up getting lost, and to make things worst you are notorious and are wanted dead by millions.
Separated from your friends, family, home. Everything you once knew, gone. Now your life is on the line...
Lost in time, Lost in the world, endangered, hunted, scared, helpless...
And that's where I got the inspiration and idea. Deep, no?

I put my heart and soul into this one. Seriously, I thought A LOT about this picture...
I've probably spent well over 30 hours into this thing as well. Yesterday I FINALLY felt like there was nothing else I could do to this picture. I was totally stumped, I made layers TRYING to find something that I could do to make it look even better. Nothing.
This is definitely a land mark for me. I've actually used a few techniques. Such as the mountains/Clouds/most of the snow-like texture. Actually painter techniques that involve lighting and shading... That being said, I want to buy a canvas and paints, and fucking paint!
This is probably the last image I'll upload on this account. I'd actually be really surprised if anyone reads this far... I'm even falling asleep -_-... It's hard to write entertaining when I'm not in the mood.
Anyways - to whomever it may concern, I hope you enjoyed it. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I imagine not many would think about such a thing as this, though many make jokes from the mobs' perspective now and again.
On the flip side of your thoughts, while the drake gets beat to heck, technically you're getting it as a mount right after. So if little else, from the standpoint of the world, you have to heal it or nurture it back to health again to even try to ride it, and then have to convince it to let you. This of course stands to the side of the game, where you just kill it, loot the reigns or whatever, and go on your merry way with a new ride. :P
Regardless, <3 proto-drakes, and this is a picture and thoughts I find moving. (Being one of those people that would, you know, go there now and help it if I could.)
