You need a couple cameras that watch for liscense plates. Someone drives off, you've got their liscense and can send them either a squadcar or a bill, at your discretion.

weve been asking for cameras outside for years. Head office refuses to install them. If we want them, the store has to buy them ourselves and install them. :(

Ahh. And from the sounds of it, your pumps will work before payment is rendered. Here, if you want to get gas and not use a credit card, I'm fairly certain that it won't pump until the person at the counter activates it to pump however much gas was paid for.

ya ours are the same way but if you refuse to activate it, you get to have your skull rend in two by the loudest most annoying beeping in the world for about 5 minutes, then have the person come in and yell, threaten, and throw things at you, then be unable to hear the next person right cuz the pump beeps made you temporarily deaf lol

Ahh. I always wish I would end up in a store when someone like that comes in. I've always wanted to see how far I could get someone to fly before they hit the ground.

I don't mean when I'm working. I just mean me that I'd happen to be in the store when it happened, and using my discretion to deem the angry, violent person as being a threat, act in the defense of those around me.

hnnmm, coming from Sacramento, where every station is pay first, this always seemed weird to me. *shrug* but yeah, probably going to be even more people doing this at the rate things are going.

as far as I can tell, Seattle is pay first too. or I'm just too used to doing that =D

ours is pay first but we have no real way to enforce it.
