Daryil doesn't like it when members of his clan murder people, so yes.
Also, the nature of his work means that angry, heavy-hitting Creatures will often try to kill him on sight, so whatever he is, he's a lot less vulnerable than appearances would suggest.

Heh, his colour scheme was totally improvised. I like the 'mint chocolate' effect and just went with it. The clothing looked a bit like a lab overall so he ended up wearing white and having heavy lab gloves for that mad scientist chic.
