There was no backstory for this cutesy chibi thing, but I like to imagine that the dragon saw Dicey napping, rolled him ever and then perched atop him as he woke. Look at the proud little smirk. You can tell he's thinking he has defeated the mighty wolf. Naturally, puppy-sized Dicey doesn't seem to mind.

This was a gift commission from Recurrent to my brother, who has thus far spent a LOT of time on his own little dragon species. He's wrote things about them, sketched and drawn them, and wrote something in line of a novel with the perspective of a traveller who encounters these dragons. Everything from behaviour to unique traits to habitat tendecies and the like. He's never put any of this anywhere, so I figured for his birthday I'd work out a commission with him to have his dragon out in the wild, so to speak.
