I feel that most people misinterpret the book because the common knowledge of J&H is "one is evil and the other is good" but that is not at all what the book was meant to show. J had both good AND evil in him, like we all do. And that was the real reason for their downfall.
Also they were still initially the same person. EEEH I'm so nerdy for this book. Anyways Jack is my Hyde. Me, but separate from me. And based off of something outside of myself.

Yes, its true... many, many people take the original story's point way out of context all too often. That novel has changed how I perceive the human condition so thoroughly... a freaking masterpiece. <3
This picture is quite marvelously well-drawn! I always love to see you emulate famous/classic horror-suspense novel characters in your trademark anthro-art style. Such a devilish wolf-man!
(Edit: Say, I'm not sure how "into" Stephen King you may be, but would you be willing to draw anthros stylized after famous King-novel characters, by any chance?)
