That Halo convention was great. I won best costume and everything!. Feels kinda strange that it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a costume now.... Wheres the zipper!? Oh god! I really am an Elite now!. This really is me now. I'm an Elite... For real... Lets take a look at those weapons I got commissioned... Jesus christ this thing actually fires live plasma shots!!?? Man that's gonna set me back some hard earned cash!. Wow even the Energy Sword is real.... I can actually feel the heat from the blade. Well this might not be so bad. Maybe I could get a job promoting new Halo releases.....

Considering how unusual the layout of the fingers are on an Elite, the Leap Motion played quite nicely with them. Curling my pinky fingers inwards allowed for reasonable movement of the 2nd thumb on both hands.
Took some time to play around with some more programming with this one. Helmet is removeable via the Leap Motion which allows me to get a good look at my face unobstructed. I bought a laser gun asset which allowed me to have a nice working laser gun which moves physics props around and an Energy Sword which feels pretty solid to use.
On another note, I upgraded to Leap Motions new "Orion" driver yesterday and the difference in tracking quality is absolutely collosal. It's literally night and day. It's possible to stretch your arms all the way out without the tracking going crazy and it's much better at detecting gestures. Whoever worked on updating the Leap Motion software should get a promotion cause the difference in quality really is that good :) The Leap Motion Avatar asset I'm using right now doesn't quite take full advantage of the drivers new features right now but hopefully, it'll get an update in the future.
