So there's a League, a Cup, and a League Cup? You can see how some cubs get confused...
Football primer: After a weekend of no Premier League fixtures to make way for FA Cup games, next weekend there will be only eight games instead of the usual ten, because Liverpool and Manchester City are playing each other in the final of the League Cup. Their scheduled games against Everton and Newcastle respectively will be rescheduled to some time in the future when the teams have a free day. Funnily enough, Liverpool and City are scheduled to play each other in the next round of Premier League fixtures, so they'll be playing twice in quick succession.
The League Cup is the least important of the titles to be won in a season, but it's always nice to win a trophy! It's the final round of the knockout competition that's been going on mid-week all through the season; not to be confused with the FA Cup or with the Premier League championship. The winner gets to play in the Europa League, the European competition, next season (as well as in the domestic League and the two domestic Cups).

This year the championship is getting interesting there... Personally i don't like a lot other leagues, cause there's mostly 2 or 3 teams that can win... german league with the Bayerns and Borrusias, the French with PSG and Olympique, the spanish with Barcelona and Real Madrid...
Gotta say that it kinda makes me happy see that the manchesters aren't on the top,and that there's a top team fighting to don't fall. These "who will win" and "who will fall" raise my interest on soccer
