I really did struggle with deciding where to post this, but it really does belong here. I omitted his sexual description since this is a clean gallery. For that please see this in the other slipstreme gallery. I repost this now so that those who are watching me for G-PG 13 art won't miss out on a well done piece that should have been available for them to see in the first place.
Character notes:
Katrichk is a non-gendered vampiric gryphon with a very dark past.
Living Katrichk:
He was born a jaguar/raven gryphon to loving parents, and had a younger brother. A genetic defect resulted in him having misshapen wings, long claws, a forked tongue, a thick tail, a very colorful coat, and a long lifespan (120 easy possibly much older), as if he were part dragon, but it also robbed him of the essential body parts to pass on his genes, rendering him sterile.
His wings are covered in a downy feather/fur mix. He never developed primary flight feathers due to the structure of his wings, but his genetic code still marked him for having feathers on his wings.
In his youth, he traveled a lot, experienced different cultures, and got into battles, in one losing his right eye.
The dots on his face are a tattoo, forever marking him a member of his tribe.
Vampire Katrichk
Katrichk became a vampire at age 80, for it's near immortality, and was given added weaponry, in a last ditch effort to save his race from eradication, but it was too little too late. This fact haunts his undead soul.
As a vampire Katrichk has stubbornly refused to eat until the hunger absolutely forces him to, first out of misery and second out of compassion for life. Thus his body had become emaciated. However, he would have the same build he had while living if he partook of blood often enough. The blood maintains his muscles and lends to his strength. Without it he becomes weak, hungry, in pain and looks generally of poor "health".
As a vampire the only way for him to die is if his brain is destroyed. His coat has paled with the death of his living self, and without blood maintenance, his fur and feathers have become disheveled, and completely sloughed off his wings entirely.
Due to his being a toothless bird, Katrichk was outfitted with fake steel fangs to pierce the skin of his victims.
The markings on Katrichk's membranous wings (markings on an animal go the skin in most cases, so he would still have them) are not often seen but only under the brightest of lights.
Katrichk's skin is black.
