stupidly late response to this comment, but i JUST now got to looking up what this was you'd referred to. very spiffy to finally get that critter's name! :D
definitely agree, it looks close to that. sadly not the same though--this case it's the membrane and tentacles of the jellyfish part of him more than any ribbon worm or his spine. :) (though it definitely protects his spine i believe! *science stuff to think on later!* ^^)
