[Commission] Calm Mind
"A hero is not simply one who goes on adventures," Auric told his student, performing a series of fluid motions as he spoke. It was as though the Lucario followed the flow of the river as it left the great Clearspring lake, and out into the world. "A hero, a pokemon hero at least, seeks to bring harmony wherever he goes. He longs not for riches, but for peace. Not for power, but for safety. Seek such rewards, and you will never be without wealth."
His apprentice nodded slowly, as if he were taking everything the jackal said to heart. Finally he moved to join his mentor, only to stop and raise a paw, "Hey, Auric?"
"Yes, my student?"
"...This is really boring." Malus replied.
"Perhaps I should have taught you patience first." The Lucario replied, before going back to his ritual and allowing the cat to return to his own activities.
Another picture from

Malus, learning patience? That'll be the day. >.>
Great picture, by the way. Really like the pauldrons; not only do they look great on him, but the paladin motif also complements his character quite nicely. Haychel does great work, especially with Lucario. Going to have to grab a commission from him sometime soon.
