AUGH I hated this whenever I thought about it. I'm the highest ranking member in an organization designed around policing the wasteland, wouldn't you think after I liberated the first 3-4 outposts there would be enough able-bodied individuals to start cleaning up these problems on their own?
Not to mention if you don't actually follow the story line, do what Fallout begs for- explore about in an open world- and come back to whatshisname Preston a while later after you've discovered a bunch of stuff you'll literally be sent to every single settlement 3-4 times for the exact same quest each. Problem with ghouls, problem with raiders, someone got kidnapped by super mutants. >.<
