This is me, later in life. Yes, I am still in diapers, and that's the least of what could have happened. If not for 
orca123 I might have been worse off...like...dead. But, I'm growing up in my new life, even advancing in magic! Aidanna still thinks I might surpass her but I'm not so sure.
As far as my wings go...I'm fae-touched with a spell, not a born fae or changeling...well...not a changeling as far as a mortal being turned into a fae goes. But it does give me a focus! Still, I know better than to simply bust out magic all the time without a reason. I hate bullies, I don't want to be one. And seriously...I learned better discipline...Aidanna was a soldier, an officer.
Aidanna's husband Miyamoto was her equal, a fellow veteran. I remember seeing his sword on the mantle for most of my new life. I still don't think I'm worthy to carry it. She insists. I don't even know how to use it...but...she's not only been my mother, but also my teacher in magic. I hope I learn what she means.
