More exploring what range of movements I have with my right arm as I slowly get back up to speed after breaking my right clavicle. This Wednesday afternoon it will be three weeks since the accident. I continue to improve and today I decided to see if I could arrange a setup on the futon that would allow me to draw and what constraints were I under.
With my right arm propped on pillow I am able to sketch for a couple hours with little or no discomfort so long as I take breaks every half hour for about fifteen minutes. However I must limit the length of my pencil strokes and the direction of the line. lines that extend away from the body or cross my chest are not advised.
Also I wanted to see what mobility I have at computer/ scanner and keyboard. I am much more restricted there.
If you like the sketches you can thank Petina. She proposed last night during a brief dream I had that I do some sketches associated with a dream in my Equestria dreamscape. It was evening, Petina was up in Canterlot on business so it was just Carousel and I in the cottage. Now this evening Carousel decided to practice for the next time she and Petina danced at the Bucking Mare. What was different was that she decided to practice her solo part for new dance her and Petina had come up and had unveiled recently Ft. Trotterdale. The Rein Dance, it is quite a sight to see.

I'm really not sure that bottom left one is PG rated.
Putting aside the bridle and the back arched in untamed... enthusiasm, you appear to have accidentally made the line a little thicker in a rather unfortunate place just under her tail. It could just be shadow, I suppose. But it just so happens to be in the right place to look like something else as well.

I chalk that up to not having my usual level of control with my drawing hand at the moment. That was also at the end of my two hour session and I was starting feel some of the strain. Also it was where I discovered that the length and direction of the pencil line mattered.
Not so much would, but could? Possibly.
In all seriousness that kinda depends how tall she is. A 5'5" equine weighs a heck of a lot more than a 5'5" humanoid. Non-pony Petina probably wouldn't enjoy her pony double standing on her foot for example. Weight + speed = always potentially dangerous, no matter what the intentions are. :(
