Pip grew up in refugee camps and migration parties after conflict, having his father and a small community raise him until eleven he gained a reputation of being meddlesome and rebellious. One day he was kidnapped by slavers, and held in a nearby city to be shipped to a new continent, where he met a rat prisoner. The rat taught pip a chant, enabling him to turn back to the size of his ancestors, and used these powers to break free of the slave encampment.

Not long after the escape, Pip heard news his Father died trying to save him, and his camp scattered. the Rat fostered him, and taught him how to best hone his abilities for night-time escapades. He's start working in criminal gangs, where he gained the reputation Pipsqueak, due to his cowardice upon confrontation. regardless of this, Pip was a very much loved guy, and protected fiercely by the gangs he worked with, often being a courier before he eventually become a glass collector.

Relationship with corfide:

Pip was laid upon by a rival gang to be captured, tortured and to be made an example of, only to be saved by an unlikely saviour named Corfide, who decided he would take Pip back to the ship for his safety. Pip was hesitant to leave, as he was sure he could avoid his life of crime on Corfides ship. Corfide object at first, but warmed up to pip, and kept him there. Pip now spends his life doing low risk jobs for Corfide, and enjoying a life of eating and sleeping aboard the ship "Ethel"
