I didnt see Open Season. All those CG movies with the wisecracking animals with celebrity voices all look the same to me.

When you got this on-the-fly scene, did you spend some time planning various layouts, or did it magically appear on the page this way-so to speak?
And I gotta say, I'm really digging the amount of 'flow' your work has lately, especially in a lot of your characters' body languages.

I hope you come back to this too. Finish out this little ditty of character development!

With this, I sort of drew it on the fly without attempting any layouts(save for a few sketches). I regret it, as a lot of these compositions could be better. I'd like to redraw the sequence after laying it out properly.
Thanks for the compliment, I've been trying for some time to inject more life into my characters.
They began life as stiff and awkward stick figures and for the longest time they never seemed to evolve beyond that point.

Hey thanks, I'm glad that you appreciate it.

This plays out really well. Its cool seeing that we're familiar with these designs - but we still don't know too much about who and what these characters are. So its interesting to wonder just why this scene is happening in the first place and what came before.

It may be some time yet before I'm able to start their story, unfortunately. I've been planning the story for a while and it's been coming together in my head and on paper relatively well recently, but I still want to hammer out a few things before I jump into it.

Plus I'm still working on HC #2, and that tends to occupy the top of my priority list considering it has a deadline.
I am glad that you like what you see so far, though.
