Just testing some new MS5 brushes. Flippin' gorgeous line variation and textures. Also ended-up with a pretty nifty character design. More gestural than anatomical, but definitely a strong concept.
I imagine she's dressed for a ceremonial, battle-oriented dance/performance. Not sure flashy gold bits would be practical in guerilla warfare. Unless used on a very sunny day as a means of disorientation...? Anyways, blue body paint (woad? maybe she's a Pictish cat!) is streaked under wherever the gold bits jangle, for that extra color contrast!

Oooh, yeah! I heard that was a good book. Been wanting to check it out. Yeah, I had to do a lot of figure drawing in college, so that really cemented the termonology stuff in my head, lol. And also, you know, the drawing stuff. xD
