One of the 14 elemental runes of Ceal, and one of the two Master Runes.

The Ilyfra Rune represents the element most frequently associated with the universe. Ilyfra can be associated with stars, unity, cooperation and resonance.

The Ilyfra Rune consists of three sets of four 90° arcs joined concavely to form squares. The three sets are rotated at 30° angles to one another, intersecting to form the semblence of a 3{4} dodecagram. Inscribed into the arcs is a triangle, touching the 12 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock arches with a corner each. A line extends radially outwards from each corner of the triangle. The 12 arcs of the Ilyfra Rune are frequently associated with the 12 sphere elements and are thus often colored with respect to the elements, starting with Lyra at 9 o'clock, and progressing counter-clockwise in Zodiac order. This rune has three axes of symmetry, and a rotational symmetry of 120°.

Ilyfra effectively unites all the abilities of the 12 sphere elements, and is extremely difficult to master. Use of Ilyfra usually requires at least a base understanding of two opposing elements, and the skill to somehow bring them into a semblance of resonance without canceling one another out. This effectively means diving beneath the surface of the element sphere, and making for the center, without being pushed back to the surface by the unceasing current generated by Ilyfra.

Very few people ever achive any level of control over Ilyfra, and only a few chosen few master it. There are also extremely rare circumstances of individuals born with a natural prowess for Ilyfra. Be it through hard work or talent, those who can use Ilyfra are usually destined for greatness of some sort.
