Rhaiza grips the sleek, cold crystals, a little vertigo washing over him as he looks down at the deep blue ocean below him, the sharp crystal spire that he's situated on hovering well above the surface of the waves. Elsewhere in the world, his fellow packmates and their swarms of aerial drones map the surface of the warm alien world, designation XXI-Aurelia II. This is what he lived for - finding new phenomena like the resonating crystals, humming with a baseless psychic energy, pushing against the ocean, but not with enough force to send them out of the atmosphere. In a day or two the pack would move on to the next planet, the geographical data sent through their recovered Sync Crystal to the Oracle, but until then? Rhaiza let the joy of discovery sweep through him, gazing upon the gas giant in the sky, before leaping off and gliding to another crystal. Yes, it was a good day to be an explorer - but then, what day isn't?
