This is a summary of the Company Future Tech Industries, including a brief history, information of its working staff, and some of its secret information and goals.

Location: Suzette Island, Colmaton

History: FTI was founded by Rainer Verres’s parents. After their death, the board of directors schemed to use the research discovered at FTI to help them with world domination. Until rainer came of age, the deed to the company could not pass to him. Fortunately, before the board could use any of their plans, one of their members warned Rainer, and with his help and that of law enforcement and the robot employees, Rainer was able to gain enough influence to oust them from the company, even landing some of them in jail or without the memories of confidential materials. Rainer now spends time looking into their illicit activities as they ran FTI, in addition to using the company to research superpowers and other supernatural forces.

Main focuses of research:

Magic: Focusing on how magic interacts with technology, life, it’s mechanics, and the nature of supernatural species, and disposing of Articles of extremely dangerous artifacts

Superpowers: focuses include what causes/induces superpowers, potential genetic causes, and how and why superpowers can distort reality, and to what extent

Magitech: Developing knowledge of operations, creating working devices that would be conceivable for actual function, including devices that inhibit methods of mind control

Anomalous objects: examining objects for their nature, determining hazard level or potential resource

Dimensional energy: little progress being made. Towering Shroud entered through a lab accident

technology: experimenting with designs for super lightweight kevlar or methods of blocking hypnosis
