I recently recorded this. It was quite spur of the moment and happened very quickly.
Inspired by
foxamoore who, as a lot of people know, is a Beatles fan. I have kept wanting to dedicate a cover to him for a while. I grew up listening to The Beatles too, so I have a lot of favourites (when I was very young and learning to play the guitar I actually learned most of the songs using a music book my dad had - difficult chords especially for a little girl!). For some reason this one came to mind and... well this happened.
It always feels good when I don't overthink a track. This one is not fussy and was more enjoyable than anything else. I played all the instrumental parts as well as singing the vocals. It's good to be at a point where I can make my own backing as well as singing. Feels good :)

Doing anything by the Beatles always is a tall order in my book. I think you did it well by a) not trying too hard/not getting carried away and b) doing it in your very own style.
If anything I really had to do (microscopic) nitpicking I personally think having Cello strings in the background would fit the mood better - but then again that's just nitpicking - overall it's a worthy interpretation, no doubt about it.
