"Her icy blue eyes moved from the newly-dug grave to the tiny, wrapped form that lay in her arms. She moved her hand slowly, gripping the fabric to unveil the cub. A heavy exhale escaped her nostrils as the small face became visible. Moments passed, then minutes. Lornala’s gaze locked at the cubs features as she sat in silence. Eventually she moved, laying the front lips of her muzzle against the fur on the still newborn's head. “Saravi.. that’s your name.” she whispered rather
hoarsely and then furrowed her brow as she felt something warm trickle down the fur on her cheeks."
- A snipet of the story about her path to bury her second cub
An amazing, yet sad commision done by the talented Black_chaos666 . Of my character Lornala, the day after her cubs had died. One during birth and the other the after.
The lighting and background is just amazing. And I am impressed with how he managed to capture her expression. Agonized and grieving yet trying to appear 'stoic'.
