With Disney on such a big "remake" kick recently, Vrghr would love to see Robin Hood redone if they could do all the characters as nicely as this! WOOT! Would be wuff's new "most favorite-ist" movie! *grins*

Little John the Bear was voiced by Phil Harris (also voiced Baloo the Bear, and my personal favourite, Thomas O'Malley the alley Cat.)
I still say I've never heard a voice actor since who could match his talent.
His work with Scatman Crothers on "Everybody Wants to be a Cat" was just stellar (Of course, I'm bias) =^.^=

I really enjoyed the roles he did and I also have a couple of his records, but I think his success as a voice actor was based on his timing from his musical training and the fact that he had an interesting voice. Iirc, all his roles are just his voice; he did not create different voices for different characters. In that sense I don't really think of him as a voice actor like Mel Blanc or Jim Cummings, who create and reliably reproduce dozens if not hundreds of voices.
