"You know how much I love you, right?" I asked, my voice shaking.
"Yes, of course." She answered, confused and slightly concerned.
"Well, I can't give you everything you want for Christmas, but.." He leaned in for a kiss, tears pooling in his eyes. "I can give you my heart." I dropped to one knee and fished out the ring box, opening it to show her the most beautiful ring she'd ever laid eyes on. "Will you marry me?" I asked through tears.
"Yes.." She whispered softly through her own tears, nodding her head in case I hadn't heard her whisper. "Yes!" She repeated louder for the crowd behind us to hear.
I slipped the ring onto her finger and we both embraced each other in tears. We hugged, we kissed, we couldn't believe it really just happened.
It was the most magical night of my life.
